Merry Christmas!!

say it loud, say it proud. I am not gonna hide my faith away because other people think different. I am not being offensive. If you have a different religion than say "Happy Hanukkah" or whatever, I won't be offended and everyone can be happy! ^_^

Did everyone get something good this christmas? Hopefully lots of food and warm memories!

Also, I won that contest for the zelda sword so that was pretty neat. super thanks to all who voted!

uh, not much else I felt like saying! HAPPY NEW YEAR SOON! Don't get drunk or anything XD

My gallery, it has stuffs so does that mean I can be considered an artist of some merit? what does it mean to be an artist anyway?
is it simply creating?

I don't create anything though... not really at least.
Is it remaking?
eh I dunno, call me what.. you will, I am enjoying myself.

I feel like my drawing skills have taken a few leaps and bounds since I first joined dA.

I was seriously considering dropping my name awana56 and starting a fresh, so much bad crap in my gallery. However I have built a somewhat name for myself and I don't want to throw all that away. plus it is interesting to go back in my gallery and see my art evolve. I still have a LONG way to go and lots to learn.

My creativity education is a bit lacking in that my major is computer engineering. It is a tad frustrating doing calc all day when really I want to make my laptop zelda themed with acrylic and brush. I may just have time to take an art class next semester though! testing out of Eng 102 sounds like a GREAT Idea.

To further inspire myself I am thinking of printing out a lot of references of people bases and simple linearts and tacking/taping them all over my room and then drawing my own. I dunno I just feel like my art education is non existant and I really want to stay connected to my artsy side.

Air Force ROTC offers more opportunities for artistic expression then any thing else in college so far XD which reminds me I have to post that thing I painted... pretty cool. I still need a pic of it.
